Covid-19 Protocol
We are asking that all of our patients, who experience upper respiratory, Flu-like or any communicable disease symptoms such as FEVER, COUGH, SORE THROAT, SHORTNESS OF BREATH, FATIGUE or DIARRHEA or have had close contact with someone who has experienced these symptoms to contact our office for instructions and to reschedule your upcoming appointment.
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has had a serious impact on our communities, and the virus continues to spread. The younger population typically is asymptomatic which makes containing the virus all the more difficult. This is why masks, hygiene and social distancing for everyone is vital to the health and wellbeing of our community, so even though the mask mandates have been lifted in some capacity we still require our patients and staff to continue wearing a mask and practicing social distancing guidelines.

We feel it’s important to connect directly with you to share more about the steps we are taking to help keep you, our employees and our communities safe and healthy. We remain committed to following the most current recommendations from the (CDC). In an effort to keep our patients, employees, and families safe, in addition to our normal daily sanitizing protocols, have increased the frequency and extent of cleanings; in particular, all door handles, tabletops, countertops, bathrooms, etc. are being sanitized frequently during our day. You will find hand sanitizer throughout the office for both patients and employees. All of our employees have been advised to practice a No Handshake policy to minimize cross-contamination and to wash hands after every patient.

Here are the steps we are taking.

Patients only rule. Limiting access to only those people who absolutely need to be there allows us to safely maintain social distancing and reduce the chance that a person carrying COVID enters our office. We take our responsibility to keep our obstetric and gynecologic patients safe very seriously.

Masks for everyone. If you have your own mask, please wear it. If you don’t have a mask, we will provide you with one to wear for the entire time you are in our office.

Temperatures: everyone who enters our office including patients, doctors and staff get their temperature taken as well as submit to a quiz on exposure.

Seating: We are moving patients into isolated exam rooms as soon as possible. If you are in a waiting area please utilize seats that are spaced 6-feet from others.

Check in and Check out. Please maintain distancing from others whilst in the office.

Alerts: Should you discover that you are COVID positive within 8 days of your visit to our office please let us know so that we can perform contact tracing for anyone you may have come in contact.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
